It is intended for low-energy applications, such as measuring high voltages within televisions or photocopy machines. The probe features a 1000:1 voltage divider ratio, ensuring accurate readings when used with a voltmeter that has a 10 MΩ input impedance. Its high input impedance minimizes circuit loading, and the durable molded plastic housing provides user protection against high voltages. Please note, this probe is not suitable for measuring high voltages on power distribution systems.
